1. What is Semi Dedicated Hosting?

Semi Dedicated Hosting is like a Priority Shared Hosting Plan with higher allocation of server resources such as CPU, Memory etc compare to the standard shared hosting plan. The entire server is shared among a small amount of users eg. 5 users whereby each user able to enjoy a higher server resources for their running applications.
 
 
2. What is included in the Semi Dedicated Hosting plan?

This plan is available in Windows Hosting Platform only. Helm control panel & FTP access will be provided for management of web site and FTP.

Each hosted account is allocated the following features:
- Maximum 1000Mhz CPU & 512MB Memory
- Maximum 500 email message per hour. No mass mailing activity is allowed under this plan.
- Shared 1mbps bandwidth among all clients in the server.
- Approximate 5 client accounts only in a single server.
 
 
3. How do I manage the web site?

You will manage your semi-dedicated hosting account via Control Panel, FTP account just like standard shared hosting plan.

No remote desktop login is allowed.
 
 
4. Do I need to manage the server myself?

No, you do not need to manage the server yourself. Server maintenance will be managed by us. You only need to perform own data backup on web site & ftp content.

Note: The server is a shared server among a small numbers of users. Thus, clients do not have access to server administration task eg. rdp, installation of custom components etc.
 
 
5. How much does the plan cost?

In terms of pricing, this plan cost higher than shared hosting plan but lower cost compare to Dedicated Server or Co Location. Please visit link below for the details features and pricing for the plan.
 
 
6. Who is suitable to purchase this plan?

This solution is meant for medium heavy forum/portal/web site owner which no longer fit into standard shared hosting plan but have not decided to subscribe for its own dedicated server yet.
 
 
7. What is the minimum subscription period for the plan?

Minimum 1 year subscription period. Payment term in annual billing cycle only.
