| 1. What is a Domain Name? |
Think of a Domain Name as an address where people can find you on the Internet
through your own Internet address
(eg: www.yourname.com) One good very familiar example of domain name would be www.yahoo.com.
All you need to do to go to www.yahoo.com is just to type in the domain name in the Internet Explorer address bar.
So, by registering a domain name, you will have an address on the internet where users can visit and view.

| 2. Can you help me to register a Domain Name? |
Of course! That
is the baseline of our services. We provide you with
hassle-free domain registration. Once registered, the
domain name would be completely yours and you are free
to do anything you want with it.

| 3. Can I register a domain name which is not available or has been taken by others? |
No, you cannot
register a domain name that is already registered. In this case, you would have to
find another name that no one has registered before.
We only provide domain registration on available
domain. If you wish to buy a registered domain, you may
try to contact the current domain owner yourself. You
may get the domain owner detail by performing a
WHOIS search.

| 4. What type of Domain Name/spelling can I use? |
A domain name can
have max. 63 characters excluding the extensions (that's the "www" and "com" thing).
Allowable characters in your domain are
alphabets,
numbers and the
hyphen " - ". Other characters
("!,.#$@_") are not allowed.
Domain name is not case sensitive so
"www.MYDOMAIN.com" and "www.mydomain.com" are just the same.

| 5. What kind of domain extension can I register
with Net Onboard? |
Currently, we
provide the registration of:
Internic Domain: .com, .org, .net, .info, .biz, .name, .us,
.mobi,
.asia
MYNIC Country Domain: .com.my, .org.my and
.net.my, .name.my, .edu.my, .gov.my.
SG Country Domain: .com.sg, .sg
Other Country Domain: .co.uk, .org.uk,
.co.nz, .com.au, .in, .net.in
Other Domain: .cc, .tv, .bz, .ws
If you wish to register some other country level domains
which are not listed above, kindly email to us at
sales@netonboard.com stating which country level
domain you wish to enquire. |

| 6. Will Net Onboard reject my domain registration order? |
At most time, we will process all the domain
registration order placed by clients. However we do
reserve the right to reject certain domain name which
sound illegal, threatening, malicious etc, In the event
that your domain is rejected, and there isn't any
registration being carried out yet, full refund on
domain fee will be provided.

| 7. How long will the domain registration process take? |
All the
registration order will be processed
only after payment receipt is
provided and verified.
During working days Mon-Fri (9.30am-6.30pm) your domain
registration process will take less than 24 hours for
activation for Internic domain. As for Mynic domain name, it takes
1-2 working days and is subject
to Mynic approval.
Payment receipts received during off working hours, are
to be verified by our billing team on following working
day. Registration process is to be carried out
thereafter.

| 8. Can I reserve a
domain name without making any payment? |
No, for Internic domain. All domain is to be registered
after full payment is received based on first come first
serve. There is no reservation option available.
Yes, for Mynic domain. However we can only assist you on
the domain reservation after we receive all the
supporting documents from your end. A domain can be
reserved for a maximum of 14 days and only perform once
prior to payment made.

| 9. Can I cancel and request for refund for a registered domain? |
No. Once your domain has been registered,
NO refund will
be provided for any reason including spelling error. You
may, however still request for the domain to be
cancelled (if you wish) but there is strictly NO refund on the
domain fee. You will need to pay again for any new domain
registration.

| 10. Do I get Login ID & Password for my domain name? |
Yes, domain
control panel login ID and password is provided when you
register for domain name only. If you register for the
domain name together with web hosting plan, you may also
obtain the domain login in separate email upon request.

| 11. Is the Domain Name Registered belongs to me? |
Yes.Sometimes when you have a third party register a domain for you, your name is not written under the
"Administrative Contact" section of the domain name. In other words, the domain name is not yours. But rest assured, if you have us register the
domain name for you, the Administrative/Owner would be you. To prove this, we will show you yourself on how to check that.

| 12. Can I only register a domain without subscribing any web hosting plan? |
Yes. You may register/renew only a domain with or without any
web hosting plan with Net Onboard. You only need to pay
for the domain fee. You can even use the registered
domain to be hosted with other web hosting provider by
modifying the nameserver. There is no charge for the
nameserver modification.

| 13. Can I enjoy some
discounts for domain name fee? |
Yes if you
register/renew a same domain name (Internic domain only) for
a minimum of 5 years straight. Kindly consult our sales
consultant
sales@netonboard.com for details.
Discount is not applicable to Mynic domain.

| 14. Can I provide invalid/false domain info to prevent my
details to be revealed to public? |
No.
Under the ICANN
rules, no one is allowed to provide faulty domain info.
All the domain info provided shall be deemed valid and
accurate at the point of registration. In the event that
the Registrar found out any suspicious domain with
faulty domain info, the domain owner is requested to
update the domain info immediately. Failure to do so,
the Registrar reserve the right to
suspend the domain permanently.

| 15. If I provide my
valid detail, can I have an option not to display my
info under WHOIS? Is there any charge
for this? |
Yes, you can choose to enable
the domain privacy protection to hide your actual info
being displayed under WHOIS.
Privacy Protection feature is disabled by default and
can be enabled from the domain control panel by
yourself. You may also request our support to enable it
for you.
No, privacy protection is provided for FREE.

| 16. I have placed
order via Net Onboard Online Ordering system, does it
mean the domain has been secured? |
No. Any order placed to our ordering system will remain
unprocessed until full payment is received. Order will
be processed after payment receipt is provided and
verified.

| 17. What if the
domain I have chosen is not available after I made the
payment? |
As domain is based on first come first serve basis, in
this case, you may either to choose another domain or to
request for full refund on the payment made.

| 18. Can I redirect my second domain to primary
domain so that when people visit both domain will see
the same web site? |
Yes. In this case, you may just purchase a domain
forwarding features to forward the 2nd domain to primary
domain

| 19. How do I renew my
domain with Net Onboard for following year? |
We will send renewal notification to you before the
domain expires to remind on the expiring domain. You may
just follow the instruction in email to make renewal
payment.
If you do not receive the renewal notification, you may
also contact us via email or phone to request for the
reminder to be resent to your email.

| 20. How and when is
the domain renewal notification sent to me? |
We will send the domain renewal notification 1 month, 2
weeks and 3 days before your domain expiry date to your
email address provided during registration. Reminder is
sent via e-mail communication only.

| 21. Can I request the
renewal notification to be posted to me instead of
email. |
Sorry but all our renewal notification will be sent via
email only. We do not provide renewal reminder via phone
calls or posted email. Therefore, please keep us up to
date on your latest email address from time to time.To avoid domain expired issue, perhaps
you may consider to renew the domain for a multiple
years ahead.

| 22. How do I inform
Net Onboard on my email updates? |
Please use your previous registered email and write to
our support to inform on the change of email. For
security purpose, we do not accept the email update
request via phone.

| 23. My Domain name is about to expire,
what happen if I don't renew it? |
After the domain name expired, everything related to the domain name including the web site and email will be inactive.
In this case, your web site become inaccessible. You
will not be able to receive or send email with this domain name
as well.

| 24. Can I still renew my
domain after it expires? Is there any penalty fee? |
For Internic Domain,
you can renew your domain within 40 days
after the
expiry date without any domain restoration fee. After which,
there will be an expensive Domain
Restoration fee of RM320 imposed by the Registrar
exclude the domain renewal fee.
Thus, we strongly advise customer to renew the domain
before expiry date.
p/s: Domain renewal process will be carried out after
payment receipt is provided and verified. Net Onboard is
not liable for any loss or cost incurred due to late
renewal payment or lost payment receipt.

| 25. How long does it take for my expired domain to
become active? |
Once your domain has expired, it will be pointed to a
parking page. After it is renewed, it takes
24-48hours for the
nameserver propagation. Please refer to link below for
detail on
DNS propagation.

| 26. Do I need to
inform you if I no longer wish to renew one of my
domain? |
Yes, please inform us if you do not wish to renew the
domain so that we will not send the renewal notification
to you. Your domain will then be left to expire
and release to public 60-90 days after expiry date.In
the event you wish to register back the deleted domain,
you may just place order and re-register it as new
registration provided the domain is still available.

| 27. What is Domain Transfer? |
Domain Transfer means transfer of domain from your current Registrar to Net Onboard Registrar
together with 1 year renewal. You only need to pay for
the domain renewal fee. Transferring your Domain Name to
Net Onboard will add 1 domain year on top of your
existing domain expiry date provided it is transferred
following the transfer rules (refer item 12).
Note: You can not transfer without renewing a domain to
Net Onboard.

| 28. How much does it cost for a domain transfer? |
We don't charge any processing fee for domain transfer. You pay only the Renewal Fee to transfer the
domain name to us.

| 29. What is the conditions/requirement to perform domain transfer? |
.com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.name/.us
- Your Domain Name has not expired.
- Your Domain Name must be at least 60 days old. You cannot transfer a Domain Name if it has been registered in the last 60 days.
Please check your Domain Name Creation date by performing a WHOIS on your domain name and make sure it is at least 60 days old.
- Transferring your Domain Name will add one year to its current expiry date. You will be charged 1 year fees for it.
IMPORTANT: If your domain expired with your old Registrar, and you renewed it with them, then do not Transfer it within 45 days of the previous
expiry date since it will not add 1 more year to your domain name, and you will lose out on the Renewal fees paid to the older Registrar.

| 30. What are the steps to transfer .com
domain to Net Onboard? |
For Internic
domain eg. .com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.name
Domain transfer process can only be performed
before expiry date.
In order to perform domain transfer, please provide us
the following details below:
a. Domain Control Panel Username & Password,
b. Domain LoginURL
c. Domain Secret (Authentication code)
d. Unlock the domain
Note: Above login details can only be retrieve from your
current Domain Provider/Registrar.Steps
i) First, check if your domain name is able to be transferred.
Refer item 12.
ii)
Please place your transfer order online and proceed with the payment.
iii) Obtain your Domain ID & Password and
Authentication Code a.ka. Secret Key (as details above) and then email the details to us.
iv) We will initiate the transfer the process from
our end.
v) Domain transfer takes 5-7 days to complete. This
process is transparent and will not interrupt your
domain name.
Please allocate approximate 2 weeks before the expiry
date for the transfer.

| 31. What are the
steps to transfer
.my domain to Net Onboard? |
For Mynic domain eg .com.my/.net.my/.org.my/.edu.my/.gov.my/.my
Domain transfer process can only be performed
before expiry date.
In order to perform domain transfer, please provide us
the following details below:
a. Domain Administrative Contact UserID & Password
b. Domain must not expire
Note: Above login details can be obtained from current
Domain Provider/retrieved from Mynic web site. (You may
contact us if you require our assistance for UserID &
Pwd retrieval from Mynic site).

| 32. Can I transfer + renew my
expired domain name to Net Onboard? |
No, you cannot
transfer an expired domain to us because your current
Registrant has placed a lock to your domain to prohibit
it from transfer away.
Therefore, domain transfer must be carried out before
the expiry date. Please plan at least 2 weeks in advance
for a smooth domain transfer to be carried out.
In this case, you will need to renew the domain from
current provider to get it active before we can perform
the transfer of domain.
