 Step 1 - Choose Your Best Fit Web & E-mail Hosting Plan |

Firstly, you must first choose the ideal web hosting package based on your emails and website space requirement. Selection of plans can be done from our web & email hosting Product Page.
Once decided, please proceed to place order for the plan via our Online Billing System and make payment. After payment receipt is faxed or emailed to us, we will process your order and setup the new hosting account accordingly. Then, within 24 hours, a hosting account info will be emailed to you together with the transfer instructions and tutorials links.
You may also transfer & renew the domain to us. Domain transfer must be carried out before expiry date. Thus, please arrange for the transfer at least 2 weeks before your domain/hosting expire.

| Step 2 - Read Your Hosting Account Info Email And Online Tutorials |
 |
The hosting account info email sent to you is important and you should save it in specific folder in local computer or to print a copy to be kept in a safe place. To help you get familiar and make full use of Net Onboard hosting features, it is strongly recommended for you to read the email that contains passwords and other details as well as to go through the online tutorials at our Support Center.
All these tutorials and transfer guides are offered free-of-charge to our clients to ensure they are familiar with our system.

| Step 3 - Backup Your Website |

To ensure a smooth transition from your current hosting provider to Net Onboard hosting, we recommend the hosting transfer to be performed when your hosting account with the old hosting provider is still valid.
With this, you shall then perform a Backup of your website by downloading it from the server to your local PC via FTP or online backup tool (if made available by the old hosting provider). Backing up will also ensure that you have a copy of your website in case of disasters.

| Step 4 - Upload Your Web Content To Net Onboard Server |

Please refer to the hosting account info email, and to search for the FTP details so that you can upload your website files over to Net Onboard hosting server. FTP Program and step by step tutorials are given in the email as well.
To avoid downtime, we recommend to upload your files over to Net Onboard server before you modify the domain's DNS. This way, there will be zero downtime for your website as your website is ready to be displayed in the new server when the pointing is complete. Once you have uploaded to the new server, you can check its link to make sure the website is running well via the temporary-link.

| Step 5 - Recreate E-mail Accounts Using New Control Panel |
 |
Other than web, we also assist you to achieve zero downtime for all your e-mail accounts when you migrate to Net Onboard web hosting services.
Please refer to the hosting account info email that we sent to you, and to search for the Control Panel details where you can re-create all the email accounts which you have currently for the domain. This is important because approximately 24hours after the change of domain's DNS info, all mails traffic will be redirected to Net Onboard's email server. Therefore, all existing e-mail accounts should have been re-created in the new mail server to store these incoming mails.
Before that, you can also perform downloads from old hosting server via IP to retrieve certain mails that have been sent to old hosting server during the DNS propagation.

| Step 6 - Modify Your Domain's DNS Record |
 |
Once you have completed up to step-5, you are now ready to modify the domain name nameserver to point to Net Onboard hosting server.
To simplify the task, we will assist you on modification of the DNS. You just need to provide us with your Domain Control Panel LoginURL, Username and Password. If you do not have these info, you may request it from your old domain/hosting provider. Being the rightful owner, you deserve to right to request for these info on your domain name. With this info on hand, we will carry out the modification task professionally only after your acknowledgement and confirmation.
If you have also subscribed for Domain Transfer + Renewal service, we will schedule for a domain transfer to be carried out thereafter. Please take note thatdomain transfer must be performed before the domain expire.

| Step 7 - Complete |

Once your domain's website and e-mails are running smoothly with Net Onboard hosting server, you can now proceed to terminate the service of the old hosting provider. You shall request the old hosting provider to delete all your domain profiles from their DNS server, e-mail server and web server to avoid any future technical issues.
